13 th Annual Conference of the SSBMT – Highlights from EBMT 2024 and ASTCT 2024 and the 11 th Annual Conference of the Saudi Hematology/Oncology Nurses Group

In an effort to improve the medical care offered to patients with hematological disorders and stem cell transplantation, the 13 th Annual Conference of SSBMT aims to fulfill the following Educational Objectives:

• Discuss the latest data presented at the 50th EBMT Annual Meeting (14-17 April 2024, Glasgow, UK) with experts in the field.
• Discuss the latest data presented at the ASTCT Tandem Meeting (21-24 February 2024, San Antonio, Texas) with experts in the field. This marks the inaugural collaboration between SSBMT and ASTCT for educational purposes.
• To provide updated information on the multidisciplinary diagnostic and therapeutic options for some hematological disorders.
• To facilitate and increase communication, collaboration, and exchange of knowledge and experience between hematologists, oncologists, pathologists, scientists, and other healthcare providers in the region.
• Discuss the latest data available on stem cell transplantation.
• Delineate optimal patient management in complex hematology cases.
• Update on the nursing care of hematology/oncology and HSCT.
